It works great so now I can watch Netflix movies on my old TV which is not very smart! I had to ask a friend to install it for me because I thought it wasn't that easy.

I used this to connect my Chromecast to a 20+ year old Sanyo TV with a 4:3 aspect ratio. Works great, picture perfect. I don't usually write many reviews but I would like to say that the 1% who said the video quality is not very good probably have problems with their TV and not with the HDMI Converter device.

This product is of excellent quality and the instructions are clear and simple. .If your old TV is 16x9, this is perfect. If your old TV has a 4:3 aspect ratio, then don't worry. In this case, Chromecast compresses the image horizontally. Chromecast does not support 4:3 format. I researched it.

Older TVs can stream video with this simple solution. Everything you need is right in the box and it takes less than a minute to connect. Watched Netflix last night and it was great. I also had an issue adding a Fire Stick to my TV and Revane told me it was just not compatible. Bladen disagreed and worked with me for literally two weeks trying different fixes until I figured it out. Bleiden's customer service is excellent! Not very happy with Revain, but I love Bleiden.

This allows you to properly connect your Chromecast to an old TV with available composite connectors (Red, Yellow and White). However, it doesn't convert text very well, so the text on the screen is fuzzy/blurry. I'm not sure if this was a TV or converter error. This converter saved me from buying a flat screen TV. My package arrived on time and was in perfect condition. I followed the instructions and had no trouble setting it up (NOTE: I liked that the instructions were clear. Each part was labeled for easy setup).
