I play at home so the spoons are not overused and not abused. However, they appear to be well made and on par with others that cost much, much more. I have no complaints given my limited experience with these spoons.

Like the smooth handle. Much better feel than twisted style. The plastic cap does not get lost either. I bought them for a hot cocoa bar at work. Many colleagues prepare cocoa in tall coffee glasses, and a normal spoon is too short for them. It was a popular choice.

Cool spoons. I use one in the bar and the other in the yard. Ideal for mixing flower fertilizer in a deep watering can. I also use a bar spoon to scoop grape jelly out of large jelly jars to refill my oriole feeders. So I bought it for the bar and used it for birds and flowers.

Most people do NOT need a bar spoon. But once you use one of these, you'll understand exactly why it's an important addition to your cocktail game. They work fine; With a long handle, it rotates easily in your hand and allows you to mix well in any size glass without shaking your drink or the person using it. Stainless steel cleans quickly. I purchased this set having previously purchased a mixed set of spiral and smooth handle bar spoons from A Bar Above. I have found that a smooth handled spoon is significantly better because it is: a) heavier (i.e. more weight) which makes mixing easier since less effort is required when the spoon moves in fact it has more momentum ; b) It is much easier and more comfortable to operate because the handle is smooth in your hand.
