🔧 Hedman 89400 Standard-Duty Uncoated Headers - Pair/Set of 2 Review

The Hedman Standard Duty Uncoated Hedders provide a noticeable improvement in engine power and sound. The increased exhaust flow contributes to better overall automotive performance. Easy to install with a precise fitment, it is clear that quality and craftsmanship were a top priority in their design. However, the uncoated finish may not be ideal for those concerned with rust or heat discoloration over time.

I installed the manifolds on my 1993 Ranger (no problem with that), had to add a small piece of tubing (about 6" long) to the center of the cross tube to fit. The transfer tube was not long enough. The spacers will not fit so I would suggest buying stock spacers and fitting 2 on each side. Otherwise I like them.

Overall great feel and functionality, it took longer than I thought to remove the factory headers and Y-pipe but installing a new plumbing was fairly easy and straight forward , in General lasted all day. It takes a while for the store finish to burn through and stink, but that's it. Be sure to tighten! From the Y-tube bolts to the header, mine has come loose 2 times and today is my 3rd time buying locknuts
