We often use these for cooking seafood outdoors which is notorious for leaving bags punctured and leaking. They will very rarely leak unless they are full. Only bags I use for outdoor cooking.

I use these bags to carry clothes because they are big and strong enough. Other bags (even Hefty "strong" bags) don't seem to be as tear and rip resistant as steel bags. Even the place where I donate clothes in these bags mentioned that they appear to be stronger than any other plastic bag.

These are better for the trash especially if you have a big family like mines. My sons and husband take out the trash three times a week and they feel better. Bags don't tear easily. As a stay-at-home mom, I always clean and feed a hungry crowd, and the trash is quickly collected. Must buy. The box arrived very damaged, but the goods are not taken away.
