Thin, small and impractical

I don't like these bags. Not sure why the example in the photo is so different, but it's only slightly larger than the spoon bags. They may be biodegradable, but they can't be used as backyard compost, and because of their size, they're going to be one of the things my garbage man leaves behind when he takes them outside. Sleek, small and totally disappointing.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Volume

They are just perfect for my compost bin in the kitchen and can be put straight onto compost or vermicompost. The worms seem to like it. I'm so glad I can throw them straight into the bin instead of throwing out the trash and then rinsing out the plastic bag before throwing it in the bin.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • old

Really comfortable! - Garbage, Compost & Lawn Bags

Our waste disposal company offers 12" x 7" x 10" yellow/green waste bins that would typically hold food waste, coffee grounds and paper towels one day. Would have for years we have to wash it every day which wasn't very nice considering what's usually inside. Hefty's new biodegradable bin liners make this job a lot easier and less frequent.Top bins but also fit well in oval bins.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Really comfortable! suitable for paper and plastic

Our waste disposal company provides 12" x 7" x 10" yellowish green waste bins that typically hold a day's supply of leftover food, coffee grounds and paper towels . For years we would have had to wash it every day, which wasn't so pleasant considering what's usually inside. Hefty's new compostable bin liners make this job a lot easier and less frequent. They appear to be designed for a cylindrical counter. - Trash cans, but also fit well in oval trash cans.

Pros
  • Health and Household
Cons
  • Questionable Purchase for Elderly

They are perfect for my small organic farm. We can ship/ship/pack some items in paper bags, but others require plastic. Before compostable bags we had to use regular bags and that was really against the ethics of our farms but until recently we couldn't find a better way. We also use larger compostable kitchen bags. The only downside is that they break over time. So if you don't use many packs, you will lose them. If you think you won't use them all, you can try sharing a box. Everything you…

BIG problem trying to open these bags

I hesitated whether to give these bags two or three stars and decided to give three, mainly because of the usefulness of the compostable bags. My main criticism of them is that they are very flimsy and very, very, very difficult to open. Another reviewer pointed this out and also said that you can't even tell which end of the package to open and I agree. There is no indicator on the pouch to tell you which end is opening and trying to separate the two layers to open it is a frustrating task. I…
