This is exactly what I was looking for. With a smaller body, this curling brush heats up in a very reasonable amount of time, getting more than hot enough. I'm not sure why previous reviewers didn't think it was. I've also had NO issues with spikes/combs whatever they're called falling out or getting stuck in my hair. This is one of only two brands of curling brushes I've been able to find in a 1/2 inch size that works perfectly fits my short hair. They don't get very hot, which is normal. Some reviews speak of tooth breakage, which in my experience happens with every curling comb. Another brand shorted out after two months, so I prefer one that can lose teeth from time to time

Sorry I have to return this. I used it once and it was great. Have tried several times using it 3 other different ones with no success. It just never got warm. Try as I might, there were no curls. I could leave it in all day and still get nothing. How it went from so wonderful to nothing is beyond me.

I had high hopes for this curling brush. It was easy to handle and curled beautifully; As I was curling my hair this morning, something fell into the sink. When I checked, one of the tines broke off. Upon closer inspection I noticed that several others had broken off and an entire section had broken off. Sooo disappointing after only spending 2 months with it. I will hopefully purchase a higher quality product. I tried to attach a photo but it doesn't work.
