Doesn't improve visibility

Good quality in everything. The light pattern is useless - you can hardly tell they're on except for the extra light in the ditches, but it's so close to the car that at speeds over 8km/h it doesn't matter.

Now I can see clearly.l

Over time, new car headlights have become much better than old ones. When I bought my old Camaro 91 convertible 14 years later, I remembered what crappy headlights it had. I replaced the sealed beams with really good halogen glass bulbs. They helped light up the street but not as much as I'm used to. I went with these Hella fog lights even though the reviews said they were quite large. Let me tell you that if you're looking for the best night vision you can't go wrong adding this one. The light

This kit is worth the money and effort to install

These Hella 550 Fog Lights provide much-needed low beam without dazzling oncoming drivers and have a wide beam that's good for fog and cornering. The headlights and fasteners are solid despite the plastic back of the case. The jigs are large, so they should be attached to a solid piece of metal. Adjustment is easy thanks to the well-designed bracket. They can also be mounted upside down. The included wiring harness is good, but depending on the application (e.g. connecting to an existing…

This make and type was recommended to me by my mechanic

Very poor visibility of the road after dark, especially in rainy or snowy weather. I chose fog lights to improve visibility as I have to commute to work after dark all winter. This brand and type was recommended to me by my mechanic and I am very happy with the results. I see. The light is very bright but faint, giving a very broad pattern. The headlights don't dazzle oncoming drivers - no one blinks at me, but the difference in visibility is absolutely remarkable. It feels like I'm still…

Great lights! Best Light and Lighting Accessories

They were fitted to a late 80's 4x4 van. I installed it close to the ground under the front bumper. You are worth gold. I mainly use them off-road as they are great for highlighting terrain features. Imagine the flash frozen on the camera, that's the whole effect. bright white light that clearly highlights every rock and pebble, ledge and obstacle on the USFS roads I drive. They're also great for those odd twilight hours just after sunset, when ambient light conditions and urban headlights tend

Recommended, great end product. Assembly required.

Overall rating: 4/5 stars. I would recommend the lamp overall, as the built-in end product is great. I'm glad to have headlights on my truck. However, the user must be willing to do a lot of installation work. 5/5 Star Installation: I installed these headlights on my 1995 Toyota Tacoma. The lights were mounted using two 2" wide x 5-3/16" long 90 degree angled steel "concrete angles" from the hardware store for a few dollars each in combination with bolts, nuts and washers. The steel pieces were
