I use this with Hello charcoal toothpaste. I've noticed some whitening in my teeth, not by a ton. My biggest concern was fluoride, which is found in most toothpastes. I noticed that one of my friends was using it with good results, so I had to try it. Just make sure the water is flowing when you use it the same way you would with toothpaste when you spit it in the sink. This can cause real chaos. Other than that, it's a really good product.
