I was amazed at how quickly they arrived and immediately took one out of the packaging and lit it. For the first three minutes it felt like my lungs were completely closed and I couldn't breathe. When I light incense sticks, it's only for a small space. I would use pleasant scents as a body dab to get the scent on my beard or clothes. I usually light it up briefly and then extinguish it. I've found that with the Hem brand and many incense sticks from India I can't keep the stick burning or the smell quickly becomes overpowering. For me it's not that bad.
