That's bullshit in Tools & Equipment

Brought with you the first time you use it. Don't waste your money, it's a garage. The end that came out stayed in my grip and it hurt to pull it out.

Designed for puller

The price of the product matches its design but after the first use the main threaded shank bent under load and on the second use it broke completely.

Worked once - puller

Set looked good and worked well once. I screwed in all the components by hand and started turning the nut to remove the balancer. I felt a kick back, but the balancer moved. I removed the balancer but the threads on the puller were flattened. I'm glad I didn't damage the crankshaft threads.

Rescue on tools and equipment

My Mini R53 has a non-original liquid damper which can easily be damaged without proper tools. I couldn't have removed the pulley without this tool! I haven't tried the set screws and was concerned that one of them would break on the crankshaft, so I'll use a long bolt and washer system to install. The puller itself is made of heavy gauge heavy gauge steel with a central bearing with multiple indexed puller slots.
