Guinea pigs are prey animals, so they need lots of places to run and hide. The fleece shelter is easy to attach and can be customized to fit your cage setup. My piglets love to play tag and one of their favorite places my biys like to run around is the hide and seek.

My little kids LOVE their forest hideaway! I set it up so they can eat their hay in it. Obviously they love it because when I took it out to clean they both complained! Every time I walk past their cage, one of them is always underneath or sticking their head out!

That's a terrible idea. I didn't think this would ever happen when I bought it but after 1 month my chinchilla hung itself on this item. The fringes kind of wrapped around her neck and she hung down. Thank god I realized it was time to save her life. I took him out of the cage. Please please do not take this with a pet.

We love this addition to our guinea pigs' habitat. It was easy to set up and she loved it straight away. I like that she doesn't take up too much space by going over the edge of her cage but still gives her enough privacy and freedom of movement. Will definitely buy again in the future! Very satisfied.

I installed it and my guinea pigs tested it right away! They use it as a hiding place all the time. The grommet spacing doesn't quite match my cage but they still fit and stretch in one corner. I placed it high enough so that the edges don't grind, so I haven't had to wash it yet, so I can't comment on how easy it is to clean. If I do, I'll most likely toss it in my underwear bag and put it in the washing machine.

Let me start by saying I love it and my guinea pigs love it. They love hanging out underneath. It's not very suitable for the cell I have. The hooks holding it in place are huge so it falls off a bit unless you really straighten it. I don't think there is much need for these giant hooks. I'll switch to smaller ones. This is a very good size and gives them plenty of hiding space. I will order more but I will look for smaller hooks. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has guinea pigs.

I gave these three stars because the hooks are very difficult to open and stay closed. It only covers the front, not the other two sides, which our guinea pig doesn't seem to like when cold air seeps into the other two sides. We put our house back in the cage because our guinea pig isn't strong enough to stand on it (he slumps down on it) and likes to sit on his house. In my cage it sometimes hangs low. In the first few minutes after hanging my guinea pig goes in and from then on he urinates, he needs to be washed so it's such a constant thing when I have to go in the water and I have no way of trimming it and I want it don't cut it because i hope to get another age i don't know i think it might be a bit thin it's not really what i expected but it works so i know in this case that I do not know if it was worth the money, but it can be used.
