After buying 2 XL packs for 74.00 and not able to print a single page I now have to buy another single pack to try once again. I agree w/ others that feel this printer is designed to fail. When it printed initially it is fine but why do all the color refills fail when never used for color printing ? I'm no expert, but I find that Epson DURABrite Ultra ink yields print quality at least as good as what you get from nicer Canon and HP inkjet printers. But the capacity of these cartridges is what really stands out. As of this writing, my Epson WorkForce WF-3640 has printed almost 1,400 color pages since I bought it in February, 2016. This happens about every other time. The product will not work in my WF 3640 machine. So I have to either reorder and get another or go to the local store (Walmart, Office Depot etc.) and purchase another. This time I decided to find a way to contact somebody about this. I ordered this one in June 29 and delivered in July. I did not have to install it until Aug28 which puts me outside the 30 day refund/return window. DUH! I used the ink for the printer. Over the years the ink cost more than the printer. Printer is of good value and has served me well. Maybe you guys can help me out with old printers. I have about 10 stacked up and some are as old as the Radio Shack TRS-80.

The ink itself is fine. This is the second printer that I've used this in. The first one had to be replaced because I was on an extended trip and the inks hardened in the nozzles and wouldn't budge, even with the cleaning kit. So either leave the printer plugged in so it will use up lots of ink trying to keep itself wet, or remove the ink and wrap it in cling-wrap if you go on an extended trip.

The extra capacity of this cartridge enables you to print a ton more before changing it out! Highly recommend it. That's my feedback.

I have been using these durabrite inks for many years and would never use anything else. They are pigment inks and do not wash away. The High Capacity tanks are well worth the money, they last a long time. Best Inks ever!

I have been happy with all the DuraBrite inks! I print labels for my homemade wine and they have to be waterproof and this ink really truly is. With the right paper, I can soak my labels indefinitely in water and the ink does not run. Don't waste your time or money on the standard cartridges though.you really need to buy the XL ones to get decent page outputs.

After having a few of the generic ink cartridges I had to buy a genuine black cartridge because even though so far all the color ones work the black was skipping & leaving lines. I was not sure if it was the ink or my printer but bought a genuine cartridge so I could be sure. As soon as it was put in & loaded my troubles started to disappear. I did have to do a realignment & a print head cleaning but all of those had been done with the generics too. Will continue to buy the genuine from now on!

Bought the set B XL and reg size color. Installed, opened new ream of paper, print only Black letters, used up 500 sheets and another 50 and got ink low. Checked ink levels and found that not only black XL was almost empty but all color cartridges were 90% empty too. Called Epson and was told 1000 page yield is only in draft mode. As for color, told some color is used even when only doing gray scale. BS. Told them my calculations say that for ever 2 ml of black I also use 1 ml of each color…

Great ink, never had a problem and it has 3X the capacity of the standard 252 cartridge. I go thru a lot of ink so this cartridge is nice because I don't have to change it as often. Cost effectiveness I've found this is the best way to go since black is primarily used when printing. Some places will sell a 4 pack with colors, which is good if you need to refill your colors, but I go thru a couple of these between the color pack purchases.

These ink cartridges are getting much harder to find. If you have an Epson printer that is over 5 or 6 years old that is still in good working order you probably find it more difficult to find ink cartridges. I found them on Revain very quickly at a great price.

Tried the knock-off brand and there is a difference. Strength of colors, how long the cartridge lasts, etc. Yes these cost more but I've been using Epson printers & Inks for 8 years without a problem - so why change?

This ink is awesome! The printing quality is spot on and the high capacity cartridge allows you to print more without spending much more. I am not a tech oriented person, but I was able to install the cartridge without any issue. It didn't leak on my hands like some other types of ink and it clicked in to the printer instantly. I've used the regular size cartridge in the past and it runs out very quickly. This one lasts a lot longer.

Fortunately I typically buy the rebuilt ink cartridges for far much less money (Like 60% less) but these were a gift. That's my review.

I could not find the ink at several stores I stopped in, 1 couldn't order the cartridge. Went on Revain & ordered. Seems like a few stores are not featuring Epson printers.

This XL version has roughly 3 times as much ink as the regular cartridges. That more than makes up for the higher price for us.

Expensive and does not last nearly as long as led to believe. I teach and am in the 12th week of school, already I have had to get ink twice now! And, I have not even printed 400 pages total and need black ink yet again. I have an ECO tank printer by Epson and have printed more than 1200 pages and have yet to fill up the "tanks”!

Am pleased with the impressive quality and that the ink prints as quickly as it dries once on paper. I like that its a bit cheaper on Revain and ships really quick; but despite being a larger ink cartridge, it still runs out rather quickly. Not a good value but great quality.
