I ordered this because I needed 2 to connect to my gaming system. The only problem is that I need a male-female connection. One works fine as is, the female input on my laptop, but I needed a different jack to jack connector to connect it to my Smart TV! :* The adapter will work. ;) The female walks great on her paws, but the male is needed for television!? I've had other cables and they work, but I want a TV as a monitor!

I bought this extension to connect a second computer to my monitor (needed a little more reach). It has worked well so far and there has been no loss of video or audio quality when connected via HDMI. Considering it was one of the cheapest products, I'm happy with the purchase. Although these HDMI inputs are on the side of the TV, I have physical limitations and find it difficult to get behind the TV where I can plug in whatever I want.
