I was surprised by the quality for the price.

Still, the device is much larger than the largest flash drive. And for it you need a cable, and it is with USB 3.0 support, if you want to see the maximum speed. By the way, Type C - Type C cables provide maximum speed by default. I bought this drive to replace a whole bunch of flash drives. And it turned out to be a good idea. Plenty of space, very good speed. I can recommend this device. I plan to buy myself another 512MB version later, or better even 1TB (but so far this is not on sale).

Pros
  • Very stylish look. True, the case is entirely plastic, including the "ear" for attaching the cord, but this can hardly be considered a minus, given the price of the device. The speeds (reading and writing) are quite decent. Keep in mind that you will get ten times slower speed on USB 2.0 than on USB 3.0. Support for USB 3.0 speed is indicated by the blue color of the cable plug and connector in the computer! The kit comes with a cable to connect to a PC. But to connect to a smartphone, you need a separate cable or adapter. In the case of an inexpensive adapter, the speed will most likely decrease due to the adapter itself, keep this in mind.

Good product at a good price, I recommend to try it.

I just took it until I seriously used it. From what caught my eye at the very beginning - in the brochure supplied with the disk it is indicated that the stock file system is FAT32. However, in my case (I took it from LLC M-Invest), I was surprised to find the exFAT file system. Not that I'm against it, just a note. - As they say, "we will see", if I add anything

  • So far, the speed is 300mb / s (checked only by files with a size in the region of 2-4GB). Not 400+ of course, but everything probably rests on my SSD on the laptop. At least for me this is more than enough.
Cons
  • From the S. M. A. R. T. (for monitoring the health of the SSD) the part is marked as "vendor dependent" and I haven't dug up yet which is which of them. In particular, in AIDA as many as 14 pieces are marked in this way. CrystalDiskInfo has 6 in total. Also, you can see that the parameter with the identifier E7 in AIDA is marked as temperature, while CrystalDiskInfo sees "Remaining SSD resource" there. : in this case, I have no idea who to believe, because both programs react to my built-in SSD in the same way, and they see the copy from HIKVISION differently ๐Ÿค”

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

Connected to a 2022 iMac as a system drive. The computer immediately cheered up, loading the system and applications stopped annoying (Fusion Drive, installed there by default, is very slow). So far so good.

Light and fast

I love how light and small it is. Not very bulky. What I like best is the pearly white color, which is not the same as the color in the picture. It's easy to use, just plug it in and you're done. No additional instructions are required. The speed is quite high.

It was easy to understand even without knowing the technical terminology.

I love that I can copy files to an external SSD and then just plug it into my new computer and get started. I'm 74 years old and I don't need any help with this external drive. Easy to understand, fast and now includes my backup files.

Works smoothly

Works great and allows translations without jams. Plug and Play completely on all previous machines. So I didn't have to call on technical support. Once the initial task of moving files is done, it serves as a backup drive for my files.

Great smooth SSD suitable for computers and accessories

This rating may change if data is lost but so far this has been an amazing little SSD. It's very portable, I've added a reference image with a penny next to it. .It reads and writes data at a reasonable speed, I didn't get exactly 540MB/s, but I was also transferring data from the cloud, which slowed things down. I also like its look, very elegant and modern. simply plug and play with Windows, nothing to install. All in all a super good product at a super price. 10/10 recommend
