Doesn't program, don't buy Hiletgo products

Doesn't program, sync error with Arduino IDE. Seller reply: support@hiletgo.com <support@hiletgo.com> Some boards may accidentally forget to download. Try downloading it on your site and see if it works. I will not buy Hiletgo again!

  • Quality build

All boards break soldering connectors

Just received this order. Programming connector soldered on and was able to load the program into the Mini. As soon as I had soldered the other connectors (and I've been soldering for almost 60 years), the board fell into disrepair. The downloaded program doesn't run and I can't program the board. LED "Pin 13" does not light up after adding headers. I was getting a little nervous about the electronic boards I bought from Revain, I had some that just didn't come out of the box.

More on order already

This just arrived today and the Arduino "Hello World" equivalent Blink program is working fine. I have another program that boots into this board and gives me serial communications back. My tests prove that it is indeed an ATMega328 running at 16MHz. It was well packed with bubble wrap and a sealed static bag. The headers come unsoldered in the package - plan to solder them in if you need them. You will also need a USB to serial converter chip/board to program this. I am using OSEPP's FTDI Rip…

I have three HiLetgo Arduino Pro Mini boards where the onboard 5V regulators have failed. Rather than throw them away or return them, and since it looked like a problem with the voltage regulator, I removed the built in 5V regulators. I am using an external regulator MIC2940A with a low quiescent current of 5 volts. All 3 Arduino Pro Minis are now working properly. They work well on computer components

They work well but I have a few problems. First, as other reviews have noted, the pinout of the FTDI programming is different than the amino version. It's not a big problem, but you should pay attention to it. Second; I have these boards for low power applications, the series resistors with the LEDs are 1k ohms, not the Arduino's 10k ohms. This greatly increases the power consumption of the board. Three; The board is said to have a jumper to isolate the voltage regulator and power LED from the…

Don't buy, they burn out in 4 seconds.

I bought three of these for a small urgent project. They arrived. I soldered the connectors, plugged them into my ftdi board which I have used for countless other Atmega boards, the flashing sketch worked and my computer recognized the COM port. and then it stopped. The light stopped blinking and I couldn't write anything on the chip. I missed it the first time and thought it didn't come with a bootloader, so I tried to burn a new one with the Uno I had lying around. It seemed to work, there…
