RESET, PLAY and STOP only

The module I received does not support commands other than RESET, PLAY and STOP. I tried it in offline MP3 mode with the buttons connected to the appropriate pins and with an Arduino in two-line serial mode. The pause function or volume control does not work.

There is nothing in the envelope except the card reader. Wiring and coding instructions are elsewhere.

Zero documentation. Much luck. I have yet to get mine up and running, but I've uploaded some general instructions, along with ways to load the specs from these types of card drivers once you get the hang of them. I really wish they would make it easier for the buyer to find specs etc.

Is working. Once you know magic spells

I finally got it working with my Arduino and I wanted to save the rest of the world some trouble: 1. I failed with nothing but a microSD card with a capacity of 1 GB, which according to the specifications is the maximum size.2. Nothing worked until I formatted the SD card with SDFormatter. I have no idea why - it blew me away.3. Look for "WTV020-SD-16P Audio Module Library". It has examples and makes things easier.4. Despite the description, it does not play native MP3 files, but only aโ€ฆ
