I had no problems with the anchor itself, but .

I had no problems with the anchor itself, but I was under the impression that for the price of $8 there were several per order. I would never buy this if I knew that you are only getting ONE anchor for $8 This information should be listed so I can go ahead and find another brand for this staple I don't think anyone is to blame for omitting the quantity in the description which is deceptive and questionable is.Hope this helps future buyers!

Pros
  • Holds up to 70 pounds. in 1/2" drywall
Cons
  • Older doubtful purchase

I have 6 or used them. Of these 6 three.

I used 6 or more. Of these 6, three broke off at the base when tightened. I mean the flared part where it joins the flat part with sharp, raised edges. the in the drywall goes so it doesn't turn when tightened.I used a regular screwdriver and hand tightened it and no I didn't over tighten it.After the first one broke I could hear I went on the next one, which I installed, very slowly and carefully, until I felt a slight firm resistance, but it broke anyway.

Pros
  • Drill Size: 3/8"
Cons
  • Obsolete

Impermissible waste quality!

Unacceptable garbage quality! On all 4 anchors I tested, the internal threads on the end of the anchor broke before it was folded halfway. What apparently happened is that the wrong material was used for the threaded part during production. The body is made of softer metal so it can bend properly without breaking. But I'm pretty sure the thread tip should be hardened steel, not the same soft. As for how it can pass their quality control without getting caught, things aren't looking good for…

Pros
  • Country of origin: China
Cons
  • I will write later
