Poor Quality Coupling Thread for Home Improvement Projects

I recently purchased a certain coupling thread from the Tools and Home Improvement category for my Nails project and i must say I was extremely disappointed with the product .As my tests showed, the quality was subpar, leaving me frustrated and unsatisfied. The thread didnt hold up well and started to deteriorate after a short period of use. This product is definitely not up to par and I wouldn't recommend it for any serious home improvement projects..

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor quality, thread deteriorates quickly

Great for ham antennas

I was looking for larger 3/8-24 swivel nuts to replace some of these on the dipole Hamstik mount. The ones that came with the mount were a bit shorter and I wasn't sure about their capabilities. These flare nuts are much better - high quality and long enough to fit all threads. These things are actually pretty hard to find; None of my hardware stores had them (including the big orange and blue stores). Either way, if you're looking for these for ham radio, you'll love them.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Some trouble
