Definitely recommended for aquariums with plants

I like it. It's affordable and my plants love it. I love the built in timer as I don't have to worry about the timer going bad. The color variety is great, I have one on my 75" tank and a 10g beta tank and they are great. Definitely recommend.

Not waterproof, only lasted 4 months

Difficult to set the timer. Often in the middle of the night a blindingly bright light would come on. The rest of the colors were great. The main disadvantage is that after 4 months condensation has formed in the lamp and in the control panel, so it does not turn on at all. waste of money.

DIY mode The light does not turn off completely. The brightness is excellent.

L8 DIY light does not go out completely. I set it to 00. By default, the light changes brightness incorrectly. I am sending this back and buying the same light again. I hope I get one that works properly because it will be an amazing light when it works.
