Not compatible with the described CLS 500

It would be nice if it were compatible with the CLS 500 as described. None of the cables that came with the stereo worked with my car.

Works well with in-dash navigation

Very happy with product and features. My 06 E320 cdi has a Harmon Kardon sound system which requires a fiber optic converter. None of the cable adapters that came with them were compatible with my vehicle, so a bit of manual wiring is required for installation. Make sure you do your research before delving into it.

More trouble than good

I was so happy when I found this machine but it quickly disappeared. The device boots slowly, many functions do not work while driving, the installation instructions are incomplete and necessary accessories are not listed. As a result, I had to have a professional installation, but the steering wheel controls do not work and do not work with the factory subwoofer. Much was promised but not kept.

Revised All good In-dash navigation

I installed this unit in June and at the end of August the rear camera stopped working. That's the main reason I installed the radio. Contacted the seller and they couldn't have been better. They sent me a new camera. Now everything is in order. I understand that things can go wrong, but what matters is when a seller stands behind their product and gets it right, and these guys did just that. This radio fits perfectly, what could be happier

Great Features - Car Electronics

Many Great Features. works perfectly. Installation can be tricky if you have a Harmoni Kardon fiber optic sound system (don't forget to order a fiber optic decoder, RCA doesn't work with a decoder so the RCA coming out of the fiber optic decoder had to be removed and attach the wires to the wire harness by hand) . I was able to get clear sound while enjoying all the features of the stereo. Excellent customer service!

Great value for money

Well I've had this unit for a month or two now. So far it's been pretty good. I installed it in an E55 with a Harmon Kardon system (yes it will work if you know what you are doing). The mount is perfect, looks like it should be there (which was very important to me). It is tied to the car's Canbus system, so the steering wheel controls work without programming, responding to the reverse signal and turning on like a master unit when the key is inserted.
