I would give this 5 stars but I had a hard time putting it together. That's exactly what I wanted. Disappointment was enough for that pained look. I particularly like the dimmer, which adapts the appearance of the light to the lack of ambient light. I'm glad I bought this item.

First of all those who complain about the assembly of this lantern. YOU ARE ALL BRAIN DEAD. I assembled it in 15 minutes. That's what's wrong with the world today. Everyone prefers to work harder, NOT smarter. Over the world. This is a nice addition to my new decor. Happy with my purchase.

Although the thing is beautiful, it is quite difficult to assemble. The tool used to tighten the "screws" is too big for the task, and anyone without pinky fingers could be in trouble. This is the first item I have returned due to the complexity of assembly. I couldn't tighten the fasteners enough to make them secure.

This lamp was a little bigger than I expected but it is very durable and has plenty of chains and cords so you can hang it anywhere. The only reason it doesn't give 5 stars is that it's quite difficult to assemble. You have to take it apart almost completely from the top and bottom to install screws for each piece of wood, and there's almost no room for an Allen key. Still a fantastic light.

I ended up buying for an outlet as I didn't have a dining room lamp. I saw this and was a little nervous about spending money. But I went with my flair. This lamp is exactly what I was looking for! It's detailed, elegant, and perfect for my small space. I also opted for a smart lightbulb so I don't have to constantly flick the switch. I had no problems with it not working. This one is hard too! But we used a drywall anchor and I have a feeling it's holding up well. I really love it!

Love this light. We have a 250 year old farmhouse and I needed pendant lights to hang above our dining table in front of the huge brick fireplace. These lights were perfect. The cord is very long, runs along the joists and all the way to the outlet. The lights look a little warning and dated, which is what I wanted. Even my picky husband loves them. Everyone who came in asked me about it. I highly recommend them. It took a while to assemble, but not that bad. About 30 minutes or so.

This was one of the most difficult assembly and installation of any Revain product. But an hour after patching a few holes in the quilt, I picked it up only to find the chain was too short. I have another lamp of the same type and the chain reaches to the floor as does the cord. It looks so sticky. I might see if I can remove the chain altogether or find a longer one somewhere else. Plus it looks great and provides the much needed light I wanted in our living room. Oh, every wood also has this…
