Update: A lot is falling off. The clip is not tight enough and keeps falling off when riding, even on small bumps. Most pins failed within a few months. I've had it for a week now and so far so good. I have vertical vents, but using the dial, I was able to set them upright. It's fairly compact, easy to use and fits my iPhone Plus with a protective case. Plus at $10 it was a good deal.

I liked that it is durable and fits different phones and even cases. I have an S9 with a large body and it supports it very well. It was in my center vents first and it popped out so I put side vents in and it works great there. The hardest part was putting it together, I was sure I'd never get it together! Then I found that you need to completely remove the screw part and put it on top of the round part. If you press the round part, you can screw it in. I really hope this helps someone! Haha

This is a smart design with a quick release buckle for your phone. It has a good hinge that holds its place. It also has 2 "handle" positions to attach to the vent - for thick and thin vents. Have been using this mount for about a week. It sits on a moderately textured vertical section of the center console and sticks like glue! It was moved several times to find the right place and it didn't leave any marks or damage the surface. I first tried it on a smooth, flat surface, which wasn't a very good spot, and it took "two men and a boy" to take it off! But again, no damage or residue! Overall I am very satisfied with this car phone holder. The only issue I have is that if you try to manipulate your phone too much, the clip on the vent will move forward almost all the way. I think this is because the clamp isn't very tight when engaged; That's why you probably won't damage the vent. That minor issue aside, I would recommend this product. I wasn't sure if the holder would fit the iPhone 7s. I also have an Otterbox protector that covers the phone. It's bulky and quite heavy. Finding one that could withstand the intense Florida heat and maintain its durability was particularly difficult, but Amoner's old phone does just that.
