The color choice for this product is great so I decided to buy it but the clay is super super sticky and very difficult to work with. In fact, the clay is so sticky that it sticks to my work surface and everything it touches. The sculpting set is good, although it needs finishing around the edges so it doesn't scratch the clay in unintended places.

I work with polymer clay and find it a great economical alternative to Sculpey/Fimo etc. brands. The variety of colors is fantastic and bakes pretty hard, just like the expensive brands that would cost just $6 for one of those colored bricks. The red snake I made here was glassy after baking and hard as a rock! There are some differences in density (some colors are much softer), but overall I'm very happy with my purchase!

I know I can mix colors to get what I want but actually 3 are brown (one of which isn't even brown when baked looks) and like 8 different oranges? Including red orange and dark red orange. But it bakes great. I was able to add color to the white to get the colors I wanted (I tried to make a miniature yellow cake and a miniature chocolate cake and I had to make my own colors for both). We've used a lot of plasticine and they come in a variety of softnesses. They arrived perfectly and are ready to use. Getting each one out of the box and then out of the plastic lid is quite a hassle, but once that's done the clay is pliable and ready to use. It mixes easily and heats up quickly in your hands. I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDn 5 stars. Clays are very small. Though I knew they would be small. The clay is so hard I tried for an hour to soften it but I couldn't. This is a good soft clay for beginners making simple sculptures or figures (maybe). This clay is definitely not suitable for canning. I've tried this tone several times over the past 3 weeks. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the quality of the sound. Too soft for canning. Very sticky even after trying to leach out the clay. Even after 5 days, oils were still leaking out.
