I didn't think of that. Not the best bed for my guinea pig. I had to throw it away after the first week. Doctors thought it was a tray.

My hedgehogs love it! We have both a bear and a shark. They can go to the laundry to tidy up and keep their shape and hedgehogs have so much fun running into them and hiding, burrowing under them to sleep and hiding or just sleeping in them .

My four sugar gliders love this bed. They pull blankets into them and make themselves comfortable. It is quite strong but can catch on all uncut nails. The pillow at the bottom slides out and unzips for easy washing. The rest of the place is easy to clean.

I got two of these for my young guinea pigs as I am the new owner and wanted each of them to have their own little cozy space. They are well made, very soft, super cute to look at but I wish they had a clip so you can attach the house to the habitat or a cage would do it much better so they don't move around the place. I ended up tucking mine up a bit higher on the cage so they don't get dirty on the cage floor but I find this too frequent but I basically have to wash her with 2 piglets a day…

**UPDATE** It has survived a few washes. If your pet is a super rodent they will bite their snout off like mine did, but luckily they left them alone once they knew it wasn't food. My piggies gnawed a hole in the removable liner so I use a piece of fleece to cover it up. They definitely prefer their longer bed but as it's colder now they use this one but I don't think it's their favorite. He's doing his job. But I will buy beds longer (deeper) than this.
