There was a problem with the self-adhesive backing which partially peeled off when received. In addition, this is a serviceable stick on a thermometer. Used one on a glass bottle and one on a BetterBottle style plastic bottle with no problems so far.

This is great but they must be applied on a flat surface. Most bottles have the desired flat top, but the strip will not fit vertically. I have washed many bottles with bottles attached and none of them have come loose.

I have used this thermometer and I like that the different temperatures are in parentheses to indicate lager and beer temperatures. I would like the degree number to increase by 1, but this one goes by 2. For that reason I'm rating it a 4. The numbers are big enough to be easy to read.

My beer shop gives them out for free with purchase. So I think it's cool. I ordered it anyway because I was too lazy to get it. If the price doesn't bother you, then consider 5 stars. It's pretty good and seems accurate. My last one didn't survive a brew after washing. So this time I stuck a strip of packing tape on it. Give it a protective layer. 5 Sude and I didn't pay attention when washing. Therefore, to make it last longer, stick a transparent tape on it.

Works well but designed for vertical mounting not horizontal (my fault for not doing better research). Also, it's quite long (I don't have it with me, but it's about 6 or 7 inches long). For my Mr. Beer keg, I had to cut it in half and glue both sides of the keg. Yes I can read the numbers on the page but my OCD prevents me from doing it calmly :) Can't give it five stars "I love it" because I don't like it but it does what he does must.

I've been going through a bunch of those damn thermometers and I'm done with this now. The main use is as a bottle/bucket for home fermentation and while they are not designed to get wet or be submerged in water I have had a few unopened even before they were installed, others failed after a very simple rinse to clean the outside. Bottles (not submerged in water or anything that could damage them). The laminates on the front peel off when it gets wet from something like condensation inside the…
