I was skeptical about choosing any other waste and recycling bin but our daughter encouraged us to try. Since we have a big family, we only use it for recycling. The size fits perfectly on the back of my counter. I like that it has two containers so we can empty one and use another. It also has a great canopy!

One star because for $89.99 I expect a NEW container with no dents (at least 3), no glue residue (2 spots), numerous drips inside and out, and some unidentifiable substance around the rim . The glass itself is what I wanted and would have deserved 5 stars had I received it in NEW condition. Very disappointed in the seller.

This thrash worked well for about 3 months before the bolt to open the lid broke the bottom of the can. Now the lid has to be lifted manually. I was very careful with the stage but it seems the lid lever quality is just poor and not durable. Also, this thing rusts horribly, in just 2 months the base of the slide was looking like a piece of rusty scrap metal. Not worth $100. Contacted the company, got a long term and NO response or refund.

I just moved into a new house that has an open plan kitchen that connects to the living room. I would like to have a trash can with a lid so we can't see/smell the trash directly from the living room while still looking elegant enough as "furniture". At least I found this product. The price is the best of any "Stainless Steel Dual Compartment Bins" of similar capacity. It's beautiful and easy to use, it's big enough so we don't have to change it. Love the idea of having two separate baskets. We ended up using a large recycling bin since almost all of our trash is like this. It fit perfectly in the space we needed. I struggled with pouches at first until I learned how to insert them. I know it sounds silly, but the regular sized garbage bag that's supposed to fit in there seems bigger. I used a medium sized laundry basket to hold non-paper junk. Moving the trash can to the trash cans in the garage worked. Things in the basket didn't look tidy unless they were emptied several times a day. It was good practice. I've seen this with two separate bins, one for paper and one for plastic and glass.
