They slide as if on ball bearings

The concept of this product is correct. However, on smooth concrete surfaces, they will slip in front of the non-powered wheels even if they get stuck at first. On my Corvette I have to turn off the traction control or the rear wheels will throw it back. The front wheels keep pushing you forward. So far, "anti-slip pads" have been completely ineffective, as have Homeon Wheels Tire Saver ramps.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Great puncture protection

They fit my wheels very well and I hope they prevent punctures on my Michelin PS4 tires. They have rubber bumpers on the bottom but I haven't tried them. I lifted the car and placed them under each wheel/tire. I REALLY had to connect 2 ramps together so I could get good coverage because of my wife's tires. My tires are 325 in the rear and 305 in the front. I then ordered 2 sets (a total of 8 pieces).

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others

Quality and ease of use

These tire protectors are very easy to fit and use on bare concrete. I ordered two sets due to the width of my sports car tires. I just connected them together and placed them right in front of the car's wheels. I carefully rolled the car towards them. No slips or anything like that. They match the tires well. Looks like they keep them in shape while the car is sitting in winter. The carry/storage bag is a plus. I get a level too, but I don't see the need for it. But a good extra to have…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • The list will go on and on.

Good value for long term car/tire storage

I bought this for a car project that I keep outside. In my experience, cars stored outdoors lose tire pressure much faster than cars stored indoors. I found a complete set of 4 at Revain cheap and took them. They are plastic but appear to be of good quality. I hope they avoid potholes. I've been running them for a few weeks now. It's too early to tell if they work or not. I will report. In the meantime I will continue to monitor tire pressure to keep the tires round.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Clarity

Economical vehicle storage solution

This is an economical solution to tire flat spots when a car is parked (stored) for a long period of time. While other similar products are available and may be a bit easier to use, they are grossly overpriced compared to these. My lower score is due to having to purchase 2 sets for my car as these ramps are too narrow for the wider tires that are common on today's sports and collector cars. If they were made a little wider (10 inches instead of 8 inches) one set would do the job.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Nothing here

Stay away from concrete and avoid flat areas

A few years ago I visited a Michelin tire shop at a van rally. Representatives said it would be a good idea to put something under the tires to keep them from sitting on the concrete. I tried thin plastic mats but they fell apart after a few months in the sun. , they prevent the tires from contacting the concrete and by design prevent the tires from possibly going flat. They were easy to ride (they didn't slip because of the rubber pads on the bottom) and they were wide enough for the entire…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
