Homfu Children's Outdoor Camping Playhouse Review

I was pleasantly surprised - the tent is very spacious, comfortably accommodating three children or two adults. The kit also includes 4 yellow pegs that can be used to secure the tent to the sand on the beach. Setup was easy and took about 5 minutes. The mesh panels make it breathable and easy for little kids to keep an eye on while indoors. It takes up little space indoors, but will definitely fit in a good home tent. I'm satisfied, five stars!

I don't really understand why this is so difficult to set up. I've only gone camping twice in my life and I've learned how to set up a modern square tent with two crossed fiberglass poles. This play tent is no different than a standard outdoor square tent with double fiberglass poles crossing at the APEX. Pass each stick through the channels, lift each stick and insert the end of the stick into the angled stick pocket to secure the shape and repeat the process 3 times.

Bought this for my daughter's 7th birthday to use around the house so she and my 4 year old don't use all the sheets around the house to make a fort to build. Colors are bright cute nautical patterns for a boy or girl, very easy to put together in about 2 minutes, it has a small escape door in the back to climb through and a mesh in the top half for air circulation. It is the size of a large bed, sleeps 2 children (7 and 4 years old) very comfortably and can definitely fit 3 toddlers if needed.

I'm embarrassed to admit I paid $25 for it but it was what I was looking for. After all, this is a toy tent. It's easy to assemble, but be careful as you'll likely tear it apart easily. I wanted something small for my 7 year old who insists he wants to camp in the backyard. I'm upset it won't stay closed. Only one hole has velcro at the bottom, but even with velcro there is a gap for insects to easily enter. The other flap looks like it was made for a tunnel and has no velcro to keep it closed.

Bought for 3 and 5 year olds - they love it very much. The only problem is that after 3 days one stick broke the bag strap and the other is already on its way. Very disappointing after only three days of just sitting inside and playing with toys. Good luck trying to contact the company that sells it - the only number available seems to be somewhere in China. We're considering replacing it with Revain.
