They were in sealed packaging from the time they shipped until the moment I opened them. I thought I was smelling a pretty strong odor all the time while it was maturing. Guess what. no Even. A Wiff. It's Chinese, so the pine is probably painted to look like cedar. But it doesn't even smell like pine.

This was a very good selection of cedar, hanging blocks, round disks, bags, round balls, when I open the package, there is a very pleasant smell of cedar that the Downside is that after I took them out of the bag the smell was gone, even after sanding them down with a piece of sandpaper, even after sanding them down it was a very light scent that didn't linger.

Product matches the description on Revain but when I received it I was surprised at how little cedar actually was in the box. My wife used them for small woollens, which she put in plastic storage boxes. I went to Low and bought a cedar plant that was easy to trim and flatten the bottom of a large chest to turn into a cedar box for storing summer blankets. Next time we need cedar shelter for summer storage I will buy more cedar and cut it down for our storage boxes.
