Type of review

Despite the previous not very positive reviews from others, I must say that these dryers are EXCELLENT. They were exactly what I expected: easy to assemble, strong enough to withstand wet heavy sweaters, yet easy to handle. I haven't figured out where to store them when I'm not using them as it would be a hassle to take them apart every time.

Great great price

I have 3 of these now. I had a foldable Oxo but the square footage wasn't enough and I washed and dried the screen (which then shrunk. Oops) and it didn't lay flat anymore. And I really didn't want to spend $30 for 2 more of these. So I got these 3 for about the price of one of the Oxo. They stack up well. When I'm done with that, I nest them inside each other, which still takes up storage space, but to be honest, this thing just keeps getting used.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Can damage

OK, but something is missing

I received and assembled the sweater dryer today. Found part of one of the leg pieces missing. The lower round part that stands on the counter. Not in a box, nowhere else. It looks like it's attached to the pole, but it's not there. So it will lie unevenly on the counter. Not something I would come back for, but I don't know if anyone else has had this issue. The packaging has never been opened so looks like a manufacturing defect. Sweaters dry with it in the same way.

Pros
  • I don't like the permanent test results
Cons
  • , everything is fine

Cheap and practical.

I have several wool sweaters. High level of service. I hand washed them, wrapped them in a towel and placed them on a round, edge-balanced drying rack in my bathtub. One wrong move can cause the dryer to fall into an empty tub. I was trying to randomly build a makeshift dryer using PVC plastic pipes and the dryer mentioned above. It worked except my wife and I had to postpone bathing as my faucet was taking up space in the tub. I saw a Homz sweater dryer and bought 3. The shelves stack neatly…

Useful but expensive

This is a useful product. It was well packaged and easy to assemble. It can be a little tricky to align the sticks in the same plane. It seems that the designer should have foreseen that he included a solution for this in the design. Without the ability to perfectly align the bars in the same plane, the rack will not be stackable. We ordered two and the mesh on one was slightly smaller than it should be and stretched too much raising questions about durability. Overall, I think this product…

These dryers work really well

Good buy. I've never had a convenient place to dry my sweaters and have found that I won't buy the tops I like if the washing instructions say to dry flat. These racks solved that problem. The size was great for laying out large items to dry and the blocks folded very well. Some people have said they don't have enough space to store them, but I have a large laundry room so that's not a problem. I keep them on a large hook on the wall of my laundry room, making sure the hook doesn't touch the…

Convenient size of drying area, stacks well

I ended up having to replace my old dryer with a similar one when it eventually broke. I have two of these as they add up. They assemble easily and fold up nicely - sturdy and strong enough to hold a couple of sweaters, even heavy ones - and there's plenty of storage space between the two mesh grids for good airflow. They don't do anything special in terms of storage. You either take them apart or just lean them against the wall in the laundry room. I looked at some of the pleats but they had a
