Honbay Stainless Measuring Tool: Perfect for Woodworking and Engineering Projects Review

I am a professional gunsmith and I often use the metric scale. It's not always convenient to switch from desktop to field box so I bought 3 of these, would love to buy more once they become available.

Not bad for such a price. Slightly on the thicker side, 1mm on the larger side and 0.7mm on the smaller side. Print accuracy is very good, however the 6 inches at the zero point are not perfectly aligned with the end. A little filing or sanding is required. It's not Starrett or Mitotoyo, but it's not the price either.

I like a big ruler but 6 inches is fine. I prefer a 3/4 to 6 inch wide ruler, so I don't think there's anything wrong with that. The engraving is clear and legible even to my 64 year old eyes. I think that's a big deal for the value. I bought them mainly for the hanging hole. My business has many rules. They have a hole to hang them over my bench and I bought them for that purpose only. So if I leave my ruler at the machine shop or weld shop, they're still hanging there. All scales are useful…
