Pants fall off the hanger!

I bought several of these hangers from a major chain store and they looked very similar and they work great so I decided to try them out even though I wear more than one pair of pants The hanger , the clip holds the pants in place and they fall off so I ended up throwing them away. I wouldn't buy them because I bought more than one so it wasn't just a defective pair.

Pros
  • There's something there
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Perfect for trousers and skirts

I've been buying these hangers locally for years but suddenly the store stopped selling them. Revan to the rescue! I like these hangers best because they don't stick as well as the wooden ones and don't leave marks on the legs and belts of trousers or skirts, but conversely the clothes don't slide off as easily. As the hangers age, the plastic piece that connects the two pieces together becomes brittle requiring replacement from time to time, but they are very useful and last a long time.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Long time

Pants don't last

I ordered two pieces to try on. Unfortunately disappointed. Pull on light chinos and button them up. My pants fell out when I hung them up. The problem is that there is a smooth, flat surface on the (horizontal) jaws that make contact with the pants. No friction, no springs, no rubber. The hangers sold at Target etc a few years ago all had something on the clip surface to hold up the pants. Honey May hangers saved a dime and left smooth and slippery surfaces. I'll try to tape the areas around…

Works as intended

First of all I'm amazed at how expensive this type of hanger is - not this purchase but in general. I needed more of this style for my wardrobe, I chose something close to what I already had and knew I would love it. If there is one potential breaking point/weak point, it is the black plastic piece used to close the hanger. (My old style, this part is metal.) This is also the part of the hanger that sticks out the most (read: loses closet space). But the rest of the hanger is solid and has the…

Nice trouser hangers at a great price!

I prefer to air dry my pants than to tumble dry. It saves money and they usually dry well enough if I don't have to iron them like that. I use regular hangers for this, but pants take forever to dry when folded. I've tried clothespins but they leave pin marks on cuffs. So I searched in vain for a local source for trouser hangers. I only found wood. They are not suitable for air drying; Wood often stains pants when hung wet. I found them at Revain and ordered them, thinking I'd give it a try…
