Let me tell you. I went to my local sewing machine store and they only wanted $40 for the bottom blade. Save some money and shop at Honeysew. If it breaks, at least you don't break your bank. I was very lucky with my first set and bought two just in case. Thank you for providing affordable solutions to keep this canal sewing hobby alive.

Knife and blade consist of 2 parts. The blade is stationary under the knife, creating a chopping effect on the overlock. The blade in this product is twice the size of the Brother 1034D-X blade. So I changed the knife and it made no difference to my serger. So now I have to see if I can get the right spare part for my model. Again, this isn't what you want if you have 1034DX.

Not sure why this product was recommended for Brother 1034DX as it does not fit. The bedknife is too long to fit in the machine. However I was able to use the top hook so I'll just call it a waste as it wasn't that expensive. Read the reviews for another listing where a reviewer helped a girl choose one for the 1034DX. This combination will work for regular 1034 I'm sure. But NOT 1034DX.

Oh my god. I had no idea serger blades could break until my top blade broke recently.
