Description of HONEYSEW Walking P60444 Singer Brother

The walking foot is a moving feed system that holds and moves fabric between the presser foot upper feed dog and the machines's lower feed dogs to better control difficult fabrics as well as multiple layers of fabric. The walking foot is great for quilting, sewing when matching prints or plaids or fabric drift is an issue. Fits most low shank sewing machines. for sewing knitted fabric, effectively reduce the jump needle. for sewing special slippery fabric, leather and so on. Keep conveying smoothly. to keep the upper and lower layers of fabric transport synchronization, reduce the wrong layer (for multi-layer fabric, cotton cloth)

Didn't work as intended.

Did not work as intended for Brother sewing machine. Started up but didn't work as it should. Cheap fake from China. Returned.

Pros

Cons
  • Not the best

The screw should not have come loose.

Worked the first few times I used quilting. Then I broke some needles. He just fell apart. The husband found that a tiny screw was missing. I ordered another one and when it arrived I found a screw on the floor. Now it works.

Pros
  • for sewing extra slippery fabrics, leather etc. Keep feeding smoothly
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Snail Pressure Set to

I needed the walking foot for my old Brother VX 1120 to sew a denim blanket. Of course I don't have instructions. I took a chance and ordered this one. Then I tried to use it but the needle got caught in the sewing foot. After 3 tries I was about to give up. After further study, I realized that this was correct. My mistake was that I overtightened the screw on the needle so the walking foot couldn't move. I hope this helps anyone facing the same problem. Stitches straight. Feeds multiple shifts

Pros
  • to stay in sync at top and bottom, reduce at back (for layering, cotton)
Cons
  • Expensive

Great price for

I recently bought a Brother XR3340 from Costco but was dying to have a walking foot attachment for this machine. When I was looking for a model number to match my car, I saw that they cost around $60. Ouch. But Honeysew sells them for $8.40! It arrived quickly and is a bit tricky to install (the picture doesn't really help) but thanks to the sewing machine instructions and a bit of controversy I finally put it on and it works fine. It sews pretty slowly, but at least I was able to get a walking

Pros
  • Walking foot for sewing knitwear effectively reduces needle jumping
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other kits
