I really appreciate the ability to connect my monitor to the GameCube, but damn this thing is bulky. The sound doesn't always come through the converter, sometimes you have to change the resolution to make it work and honestly it's huge. The included micro-USB cable was too short and for some reason didn't stay with the power bank, making setup even less fun than usual. Most of the time he does his job, but the man fights you at every turn.

Great product for connecting an old DVD player to modern equipment. I bought it along with an HDMI switch to connect a cable, Roku, DVD player and Wii to a flat screen that only had two HDMI inputs. Now we don't have to change the TV input or reconnect everything to use a different device, we just press a button on the switch. I had to get this device and a special Wii device to upconvert the signal to make it work with a 1080 TV.

This adapter did exactly what it was supposed to do from the start. I needed to add HDMI functionality to an old portable DVD player that we use to watch movies on the go. It only has RCA connections like many inexpensive portable players. Some hotel televisions no longer have cinch connections, only HDMI.
