Hoover Agitator Brushroll Bearings 43267002 Review

The bearings on my 40 year old vacuum cleaner are very worn. It went together perfectly and was easy to install by following the many examples available online.

The first set I received wasn't very good but I contacted the seller and he immediately offered to send replacements and recommended when I get new ones try to oil them up because they already come with some big ones but it's not that much.

These are genuine Hoover agitator bearings. If you can replace the beater belt you should be able to unscrew the end caps and swap out those bearings. The bearings are simply pressed into the impact shaft. Unscrew one cover and knock out the shaft on the other side. You can do this. It made my vacuum cleaner run with less vibration.

I inherited a 1980's Hoover Concept Two vacuum cleaner when I bought a house 10 years ago. I've recently started burning through belts like crazy, which I think is related to roller bearing shooting. I thought I needed a new roller assembly which is no longer made. Luckily these bearings are the same as in the video on my old vacuum, and installing it made the vacuum work like new. While Hoover keeps releasing new stands, it's nice to see that some of the basic details remain the same.
