Hoover Floor Retainer Squeegee 59177047 Review

Thought the Floormate was sold out but bought a replacement scraper. Ideal. Now I can use my favorite floor washer again. Easy installation with simple tools. I bought two and am ready for the next time it wears out.

Unfortunately this item did not fit my Hoover Floormate model, the size matched, the bracket was not the right one. I will change the mount to make it work. The product was declared as "exchange" but it is not! Will be updated if it cannot be made to fit.

This essential replacement part made our Hoover Floor Mate Great Again (MHGA)! This allows water to be sucked up from the floor instead of just being sprayed all over the floor by the warning wiper. Now our tiles are clean again!

My Hoover partner was not collecting as much water as before and I noticed that the suction cup was broken. I bought it to replace a broken one and it fits perfectly. Very easy to install. I bought another one to have on hand in case I run into any problems in the future.

Glad I still have a guide with pictures on how to disassemble the head to replace the partner's mop part. Once taken apart, it was easy to reassemble with a new wiper. It is also possible to clean different parts of the whole unit.
