Great little funnel

Love this funnel. There was one I lost and was happy to find it on Amazon. A small pop-up sensor tells me just in time that my quads and motorcycles must not overflow when refueling.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons

Very slow good for funnels

I have other funnels with built in filters or auto stops that are significantly slower than standard funnels but this funnel is terrible. Super slow, sensor not thought through.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Hopkins Flo Tool Funnel

Cannot find this locally. Suitable for filling gas tanks where the liquid level is not visible. The float rises and indicates when the tank is full. If you are careful, spills will be cleaned up.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Minor issues

Well-made Funnel: Tools and Equipment

The Flo Tool Gas Gauge Funnel is well made and durable. I never got used to the new gas cylinder nozzles that can be opened with two hands. I generally just remove the nozzle and blow the gas through this funnel into the mower. The sensor tells me when to stop refueling and I haven't spilled any gas yet. It's good.

Pros
  • This is Great
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Plastic too light

The gauge works fine but the thing is still too heavy and you almost need a person to hold the funnel to keep it from tipping over - it's better than any other funnel that I've had or seen it, but needs a little more work to be optimal. It's like the funnel has to weigh more than the gasoline that fills it to make it stable.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Some problems

Great funnel for refueling small engines.

Some of the negative reviews on this product were related to the limited flow due to the strainer. Do not purchase this filter to dump a 5 gallon can into a tractor. It is designed to fill small tanks such as lawnmowers, generators, etc. It is excellent for eliminating overflows. I don't know of any other funnel that has a better idea.

Pros
  • Safe and easy to use
Cons

Better than most hoppers

I would give it 5 stars but twice out of 10 I've overfilled. It is extremely helpful to use and I will try to always use something like this in the future. The problem is that you can spill if you pour quickly. The popup only appears when it's too late for my lawnmower, so I'm used to watering slowly. Since this is actually my problem and not the funnel's fault, I'm giving it 4 stars. It really works and saves me a lot of gas spills.

Pros
  • Great for lawn mowers and more
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all

It fits perfectly in my garden tractor fuel tank

I finally managed to use this funnel. It fit perfectly in my garden tractor's fuel tank, but the spike never popped out when I filled the tank from a gas bottle. I had to remove the funnel from the filler neck to determine the amount of fuel in the tank. This device made the filling process easier as it is a good size and catches all the liquid poured out of the gas cylinder. It's also bright yellow, making it easy to find in my garage. I will definitely use it for my lawn mower and snow plow.

Pros
  • Applications include marine fuel, lawn mowers, trimmers and other small engines
Cons
  • So So
