This is a very good quality stainless steel with correct threads and splines. I ordered them, to make aseptic connections between my brewing equipment and the fermenter. Since everything in my equipment is stainless steel, I purchased it, as opposed to the usual brass fittings found locally. I ended up using threaded tape of the NFT, since it is stainless steel is very hard, they fit perfectly into my setup.
