Therefore, squeezing the last juice out of half is not realistic. Oranges are better, lemons really fight back. The solution is to put the two partially juiced halves together and press them together again to ensure a tighter fit. It's a bit finicky for my taste.

Works, this is an important part, works with some limitations. I've noticed that when I squeeze the lemon hard, the base stretches a bit, which relieves some of the downward force used to extract the juice. But the worst thing is that I had to get the seeds because the holes in the base are big. This can give you a lot of juice quickly, but it can also get a lot of seeds into the juice. If you don't mind digging up a seed or two, then this is a handy kitchen gadget!

This is one of those tools that just works. It's built like a tank and the length of the handles gives you the ability to easily juice difficult fruits, including limes that have been in the fridge for too long and lost their "bloom" a bit. Hard-wearing plastic withstands every load. Dishwasher although a quick rinse is good for cleaning.
