Would have been great but the lock case came loose and was lost

Update: Unfortunately I had to change this from 5 stars to 2 stars. There is a plastic cover that snaps off to give you access to the rope inside the (hollow) handle. Great idea for changing rope or rope length. But the second time I carried my kayak with the new handles, this cover came off one of my two handles. I put it back on but it popped out again somewhere and got lost. I think screw caps would be better. ------ I have an old kayak that I was repairing and I was very happy to see these…
