The cedar block in the hangar matches any clothing in the normal clothing hangar. They'll last for years, and when age slows the action of cedar, a quick sanding of any edge with regular sandpaper will restore the cedar scent and moth repellent.

These cedar logs are great value and initially smell very nice in a garment bag or closet. The pleasant smell didn't last long. I hope moth protection etc. is still possible. I haven't tried the sanding trick people have suggested yet, but I'm sure it will refresh them a bit. It seems their cheapness would be useless if I had to buy cedar oil to impregnate them as some have suggested. They are alright.
