This worked well, but when I had to go away and leave the varnish on the copper pot to make the call, I found that the varnish did an excellent job of removing stain and oxidation if I let it dry on the surface of the pot for about 30 minutes before wiping. It cleans well enough for small deposits but the hype might be a bit over the top as none of the more stubborn deposits were removed without a lot of lubrication and I doubt this product has reduced the effort required. Everything I read sounded like it was effective for what I was using it for, but it didn't work at the high performance level. Works well enough for light cleaning and polishing.
