Howard FW0008 Feed N Wax Conditioner 8 Ounce Review

I love this stuff. No, I mean LOVE this stuff. I have a few logs that I turned into tables and one of them is on our patio so it gets damaged by the sun. When I use Feed-N-Wax it looks the same as the day I did it. We also use it on our children's piano. There is no better product for wood.

I bought it for furniture but yesterday I decided to try the wooden handle of a kitchen tool. Wow! The wood dries from washing, but that helps a little. I applied about four coats and then lightly sanded. A few more layers and the grip is smooth and comfortable.

I started using this as a finish for my wood carvings. All of my work is done indoors, so I can't use "smelly" varnishes and sealers. Feed-N-Wax is excellent for sealing wood prior to painting with acrylic paints and for final protective coating of threads. You can also touch up with acrylic paint, for example a few drops of brown to achieve the antique effect.

I have used this product for many years. I painted the mantel clock once, which gives the appearance a pleasant calm. Now I mainly use it on furniture, kitchen cabinets (cherry) and hardwood floors. They're made from Brazilian cherry and wear off easily in places like the sink and stove. A swipe of this product will bring it back to its normal appearance. I highly recommend this product.

I have large wooden beams in the vaulted ceiling. They have been there for 40 years and have been really neglected as they are very difficult to reach. I bought some of that stuff and some sponges and rubbed those joists. The dry appearance disappeared immediately and the smell was great too. I've also used it on oak furniture and now it looks better too. It's amazing what a difference a small amount of conditioner can make.
