I use this when I quilt. I put it on my bedside table to iron. The heat doesn't get through so my furniture is protected.

The 18 x 24 pad was just the right size for the area on my desk that I use to iron my sewing/embroidery projects. I no longer have to put my ironing board next to the table. The lining protects my table from the steam from the iron; I am very happy with my purchase. The price for this size was the best I found.

Suitable for ironing. The vapor goes straight through and I was hoping it was thick enough not to soak everything underneath. It's ok for the price I paid which was a bit lower than the more expensive ones. The last one I had was smaller and didn't get wet underneath, but more expensive. You get what you pay for.

It arrived quickly and in excellent condition but I was still not sure how it would work, nobody in my quilting group had one. My quilting area is to one side of my bedroom. Quilting requires an ironing board but takes up so much space. The wool rug actually sits very snugly on the end of my dresser and doesn't move like an ironing board and looks a lot better. I love it and haven't had any problems, thank you very much
