I needed to replace my old burned out CRT quickly - it was a surprisingly inexpensive widescreen LCD with very good picture quality. Three stars because after a few months of use, the electrical connector attached to the back of the monitor has come loose and I have to wiggle it to get proper contact. If I hit it at all (like putting a pen on a table next to a cord) the power goes out and I have to shake the plug until it works again. Annoying, but not worth changing monitors just yet.

I just received this monitor after ordering it on black friday. I was lucky enough to be on sale for $100. I wish I read somewhere that it comes with a VGA cable (not a DVI cable), so here it is for anyone interested. As for the monitor, it works! that is nice. For those having trouble with the dreaded "sticker remaining", I suggest trying the Mike G technique with the sticker itself first. If that doesn't work, try gently applying/wiping off a small amount of medical alcohol with a cotton swab and quickly wiping with a soft, clean cloth. I've had this monitor for about 6 months now and am happy with it. I read some other reviews especially the ones about the adhesive on the sticker and the power button. In my case I had no problem removing the factory sticker and the power button works fine. As for the display, I think it's very good. High-resolution images appear to jump off the screen. Was sad to find the same product at a much lower price from Revain just a few days after ordering. The quoted prices are a joke. I could have bought it at Wal-Mart for the same price and didn't have to pay the higher shipping cost. I think I was just in a hurry, but I won't make the same mistake again. Okay, I took this monitor as a second screen for my Macbook Pro. I plugged it into the Apple adapter, turned it on and everything was waiting for me. I've been using it for a month, it works great, had no problems with it. I didn't try to remove the sticker on the top because I've read it's really difficult and I'd rather have a sticker than a mess. So far very satisfied. Price / quality, I recommend.
