HP 05A CE505D 2-Pack Black Toner Cartridges for HP LaserJet P2055 Series - High Performance and Compatibility Review

These two cartridges didn't even last two weeks! Usually we can go for a month or more. Our order history during tax season is one case per month, not two! Don't see any value for our money here.

I bought a set of 2 and they are defective. I tried my old cartridge, it works fine, but when I tried the new one with another printer (same model) they all showed errors. I read the previous reviews and found that they have the same problem. I'm trying to contact Revane to get back. At the same time, I recommend you not to buy this type of cartridges here.

The product turned out to be defective. None of the cartridges were recognized by the printer. I wonder if these are original OEM cartridges? Went to Staples and bought a toner cartridge which was recognized immediately. I do not recommend buying this product through Revain as there is no support for a month after purchase. That's what you get when you plan ahead and buy office supplies before they run out.

Neither of these two cartridges lasted very long. I can't give the number of pages, but one of them took about a week. At around $100 each, this is unacceptable. We use them in our store so we always have additional options which is why they are not covered by Amazon's 30 day return policy. When I receive faulty products, I've decided to try my luck with an aftermarket toner I just bought. Very disappointed in HP!

I agree with other recent reviews that say the April 2016 buyer should be careful. We've been buying this ink from Amazon for years but we just got 2 of these (4 total) and all 4 didn't work. . This will result in an error in the device when the triangle/exclamation mark flashes - usually this means the toner door is open, but not in this case. Hopefully this batch will be removed and we'll get better quality control as buying this pack is cheaper than buying it individually.

This was not my first order of two packs from Revain. However, this time the first toner cartridge failed and printed light in the center of the page and black on the left and right edges. In a previous review I hinted that these may not be genuine HP cartridges. Revain emailed me to say that they had investigated my complaint that the toner cartridges were genuine and had withdrawn my review. Okay, Revain, at least one toner cartridge sucked. Next time I might be more inclined to get up and…

I don't know what happened, but all four cartridges are defective. I bought them for our office last week. The employee used the first one - her printer gave errors and didn't work with the first cartridge. We called our local technician and he suggested trying a different cartridge - same thing. At the same time my boss decided to pull out her old printer (thinking our printer was broken) and put in ANOTHER cartridge - same thing. So we think we either have two printers broken at the same time
