This range of printer cartridges is more or less a "trick" for the consumer. There is no exact measure of how many pages of paper can be printed, so life depends on the cartridge. They arrived on time and were well packaged. The quality is average at best, but can be used for most prints that are not intended for official presentation. The moment I put it in my printer, this notification showed 'counterfeit or used' on my HP printer. When it was returned to me I was instructed to return it to the drop off point which was too far away requiring me to drive on I-10 and through loops. This is THICK cartridge, not THIN, for your information. I just called HP and cleared up a few things if anyone is interested. I have an HP Photosmart 7525. I ordered this original cartridge that fits the thicker cartridge. When I called HP they told me if you need a thinner black cartridge it says photo ink. I needed an HP 564 narrow and wide ink cartridge. Revain offers them in many combinations: singles, multis, part of a set, part of a subset. I had to order one of five colors. It was narrow versus XL wide black. Suppose if I were to determine from a set of 4 cartridges which one is black as the black color of the page was the only one in the printer but still 564 model that fits the printer. I usually order ink cartridges direct from HP when they are on sale (I can have overnight delivery at no extra charge) but I need the ink now. I have ordered different inks from Revain for another printer and sometimes the cartridges are ok, sometimes not. (You will be refilled, not HP). I learned the hard way not to order this product in hot weather. It was left in full sun at the end of my asphalt road at 90 degrees. I ran out of ink so I brought some and went to refill --- surprise! The heat melted it into a liquid state. The ink splattered down my arms, under my nails, onto the front of my dress and onto the carpet before I could toss it into the printer's slot.
