High Yield Black Toner Cartridge HP 30X (CF230X) for HP Color LaserJet M203, M227 Review

Print quality is fantastic But HP is a real Pandora's box with their virtual customer support. Adding this toner cartridge turned off the printer, and even though the printer was double the capacity, the printer gave the error code "Toner low". The mechanics are wonderful. Customer support and error codes are terrible when you have a Mac and your time is valuable

I received this toner to replace the toner that came with my printer (Laserjet Pro M203 with CF230A toner). Everyone knows that the toner that comes with the printer is only half full. This resulted in approximately the same number of pages printed as with this high-capacity 30X toner. The stated yield is around 3,500 pages, I received a "very low toner" warning at only 606 pages in 7 months. See warning photo.

I bought this for our office printer last year. A brand means nothing to me as long as it works. The product works well, it is a regular black laser toner. Seriously, black toner is the most versatile item imaginable. What can go wrong. But I am trying other non-HP branded options that are cheaper (about half the price). The first purchase of this product cost $85 and was returned last year. Now over $100. This is madness. HP lost my business.

I spent $100 on a "new" long life toner cartridge. When I opened the box a few weeks later, it was clearly used: the box was sealed with tape, the plastic sleeve inside was open and wrinkled, the cartridge looked dusty. Since I had an urgent print job, I had to use it. There is some ink in it, but the quality is greyish. These people are thieves. Even during the pandemic I will NEVER buy these supplies through Revain again. This seems to be normal for unscrupulous sellers.

This cartridge meets your printing needs , it fits my HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M227fdn. However, when I replaced it with your product just today, August 2nd, 2020, the printer does not recognize the new cartridge. I only buy HP products for this reason and income. So I need a replacement. I have the original box and packaging because I just opened it. It says you can return the item but I don't see a way to return it and send it back.

I ordered these and paid $107 for them. When I received it the side clip was broken, probably due to shipping and there is no way to return it as damaged. I stopped using HP products because their cartridges are flimsy and don't last long. Now we buy all Brother products for our store. Do your research, printers should last longer than these printers, and cartridges are very expensive, especially when they're damaged and unusable.

As the HP 30x toner was advertised as having a capacity of 3,000 pages I bought it in May thinking it would print twice as many pages as the 30A toner.
