NOT what we ordered or paid for. Very deceptive!

The computer we ordered and the one received are two completely different products. Not sure who to turn to but I am disappointed we did NOT get what we paid for! All photos show that there is a key on the right. It is also listed as a feature. As you can see, it has NO keyboard. We will need to buy a second laptop for our other son in the near future. Of course we have to look elsewhere!

Pros
  • also understandable for old people
Cons
  • some little things

Good laptop for the price

I am very happy with this product even though I suffered for a week from the junk called "S mode" that made my life hell. Pros: Very fast with the new version on Win 10, a compressed version that made it very, very fast. The sound is good, the mid-range webcam is slim and light as expected, and the average battery life is 5.30 to 6 hours depending on usage. Cons: S mode really sucks because you can never install your favorite or work apps. Its deactivation in the Microsoft Store has not worked…

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Exchange availability

Won't connect to internet

I brought this for my office and it keeps disconnecting from the internet due to hardware issues. HP won't let me exchange, they insist on fixing it. I HAVE NOT BROKEN, this is a DEFECT. NO MORE PS.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Great little saver

I accidentally bought this for my SO. Other than replacing her laptop (Dell 1545) there hasn't been a proven "need" for it in the last 13-14 years so it's time to move on. I was able to snag this HP 15-DY1024wm at a very reasonable price and it was worth every penny. A great little dual-core i3 processor with 4 threads and integrated Intel graphics is more than enough for web surfing, video streaming and office applications. HDMI output for connection to an external monitor or television…

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Perfect for what I need

I spent weeks deciding on a computer. I'm going back to school (although I'm old enough to be a tomb keeper) and I just need something simple. I know next to nothing about computers, so I asked all my colleagues what their favorite brand was. We mainly use HP at my work. I saw that this one was reasonably priced so I figured why not just buy it. It's not very big but it's perfect for me. I like that it's not too heavy and fits perfectly in my work laptop backpack. This has become my life…
